Md Mahamudul Hasan — an independent filmmaker, screenwriter, and storyteller from Bangladesh, creating films and stories that entertain, inspire, and generate positive impact in people’s lives. My work aims to raise awareness about the environment, arts, and culture, bridging local narratives with global audiences.

Founder of Banglatainment, an online magazine publishing in both English and Bengali, showcasing Bangladesh’s cinema, culture, lifestyle, and environmental insights to local and international audiences, where I contribute regularly as a writer.

Trained in photography at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute and filmmaking at Bangladesh Film Institute, I complement formal education with ongoing self-directed study in AI-driven storytelling, journalism, and contemporary media trends. My works span nationally broadcast television dramas, documentaries, and independent cinema, reflecting contemporary Bangladeshi life and societal narratives rooted in environment and human development.

I have produced documentaries for Bangladesh Tourism Corporation, City Corporation, and Kuakata, exploring the region’s natural beauty, culture, and environmental narratives to create socially relevant storytelling.

My debut feature film, Aborto (The Circle) (2024), explores cycles of human struggle and identity. The film received critical acclaim in Bangladesh, extensively covered by national newspapers including Prothom Alo and The Daily Star, and has been officially selected for international film festivals, including USA and Italy, reflecting my commitment to share Bangladeshi voices and landscapes with the world.

Through filmmaking and Banglatainment, I create stories that entertain, inspire, and foster awareness about the environment and human development. Each project is conceived to positively influence people’s lives, encouraging reflection, learning, and conscious engagement with the world. I aim to produce work that resonates locally while maintaining global relevance, enabling collaboration, research, and cultural exchange across borders.
